Ready to Explore New Markets: Working with Distributors and other Food Buyers was held on Wednesday, December 16, 2015.
Farmer, processor, and food entrepreneurs met to hear directly from distributors, retailers, and other food buyers about opportunities and requirements within those markets. The event provided an opportunty for restaurant, institution, and grocery buyers to meet suppliers of local Wisconsin food. Buyers and sellers brought along business cards, availablity sheets, pricing, and samples to facilitate connections during the direct networking portion of the meeting.
Back for a fifth year, this business to business meeting was hosted by the Institutional Food Market Coalition, a program of Dane County UW-Extension.
