IFM Membership
Why join IFM?
Dane County’s IFM was founded in 2006 to develop new market opportunities for Dane County and regional growers
and increase local food sales into institutional markets. The success of this public private partnership is due
to the leadership and commitment of Dane County, institutional buyers, distributors, WI growers, local food
businesses and other local governments - working together to bring greater economic value, health and a cleaner
environment to WI and our farm communities.
Why join IFM now? In the past, IFM was supported by Dane County, IFM program revenue, and grants. Going
forward, Dane County and grant funding will be limited, so your IFM Membership is critical to allowing us to
continue offering these programs and services and increasing WI Local Food Sales.
